Campus housing doesn’t bring to mind large budgets and $80k photo shoots. But it’s also a very competitive gig, with about an 8-week leasing window each Spring. You gotta stand out, you gotta get some attention. But you typically have a Top Ramen budget and limited resources. Our approach for K14 was to rely on illustration to get some mileage out of the look, while using a local illustrator to bring some fun, hip edge to it.
